Fox Glee’s Matthew Morrison is set to make a Justin Timberlake style solo album. Matthew Morrison plays the Glee Club music teacher, Will Schuester on Fox’s new hit show, “Glee”.
He recently gave an interview to Access Hollywood,and talked about how he will soon be working on his own solo album. He stated, “Right now, I’ve almost finalized a record deal and am going to be working on an album.”
Then, he talked about how his new album is going to be like a classier Justin Timberlake style album. He said, “It’s going to be different. I would consider it a classier Justin Timberlake album,” he revealed. “It’s going to be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats.”
Matthew Morrison is 30 years old,and is a veteran of Broadway. His acting resume includes roles in : “Footloose,” “The Rocky Horror Show,” “Hairspray,” “South Pacific” and “The Light in the Piazza.” He also earned a Tony Award nomination in 2005 for his role as Fabrizio Nacarelli in “The Light in the Piazza.”
Matthew also revealed that he wants to try his hand at everything;he wants to do it all. He stated, “I want to be like the next Gene Kelly. I want to kind of do it all.I want to have a career in movies, television, music and Broadway – but have them all be separate, their own entities.”
Matthew said that he won’t be involved in the summer 2010 “Glee” tour. He stated, “You probably know as much as I do about it. I just read about it online,” Matthew joked with Billy. “I don’t think I’m going to be involved in that. Mr. Schuester likes to take his summer break.”
