Brandon Spikes gets suspended for deliberate eye gouging of an opponent,according to ABC news. Brandon Spikes is a star linebacker for the Florida Gators. They report that coach Urban Meyer has decided to suspend Brandon for the first half of Saturday’s upcoming game against Vanderbilt for his attempt at eye gouging the Georgia running back Washaun Ealey in their game this past Saturday.
Coach Meyer said Brandon did it in retaliation from getting his eye poked earlier in the game. Brandon is fourth on the team with 42 tackles and three sacks. The Florida Gators won the game convincingly with a whopping 41-17 beatdown over the Bulldogs.
