MTV released a new “Sherlock Holmes” movie trailer today. As the release date for Warner Bros new Sherlock Holmes movie draws closer,more movie trailers abound.

Today, MTV released another new,action-filled, movie Trailer for the action/adventure/mystery flick,due to hit theaters next month.

It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.

This trailer (below) shows scenes we’ve seen in other trailers,but also has some new footage. It features more fights,shoot-outs,and comedic undertones, as Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) teams up with Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot,which could destroy the country.

“Sherlock Holmes” movie hits theaters on December 25,2009.
