This is a very educational video that demonstrated a young woman’s strength and courage to leave an abusive relationship. I was in one too, so everything Rihanna said in the interview resonated in my soul. Thank you for this. Although I appreciate your attempts to give people freedom to express themselves (comments published above), I would hope your editing crew would eliminate some of these offensive comments that are obviously racist/ignorant. They clutter visions of those women who will need to hear these messages of domestic violence or abusive relationships. Thank you again.

Okay well first off i personaly have never been in a abusive realtionship. But i think everyone is able to have an opinion. Okay well i think that chris brown was very wrong for what he did, and that people are right men shouldnt but there hands on women, because they just dont understand how much stronger they are then women. And with the whole thing with people getting mad cause everyone is saying that she must have provoked him, for him to react like that is understand able because people have to understand that its hard to believe that she didnt do anything. But im not saying that their right, its just it does take two to have conflict and even if one started it, the other continues with it and then its just a big fire building up. But anyways continuting with the whole story, i personally do feel for rihanna very much, because she didnt ask for any of this to happen but im sure neither did chris. I just wish we all knew what happen excatly like i mean detail to detail, becasue everyone dont forget that we only kno the womens side and not saying that she lied but from personaly experience when we get into fights we dont remember what exactly happens and how it all started. because it just goes so fast its like did that really happen. But basically i feel that chris shouldn’t have put his hand on rihanna, but i also think that he is human and not saying this is an excuse but he has feelings and that maybe while all of that was happing he just felt he had to defend him self. who knows what was going on in his head. but i think the best thing to do is for them two to forgive and learn from this. And chris i love you as an artist and i believe you arent your stepfather but do know this, and im sure you didnt plan for that night to go down like that but, just try in the future to walk away from doning something that you will regret in the end. Also rihanna im sorry for what happen and i hope you never go through that again. Well that’s all I have to say.

I am saddened that people are saying that Rhianna may have provoked the attack, even if she did Chris took it too far.

And I am not even mentioning other comments which are so foolish they don’t deserve a response.

Chris is young, they are both young and he made a mistake, I believe that due to the fact that he is young, that he can change, mature and become a better person and I wish him and Rhianna well in all their future endeavours.

I think its a shame that more air time was not spent talking about how to get out of abusive relationships and what support groups, centres etc are available for women who find themselves in the same situation. Even a link to a website would have been nice.

But as I said earlier I wish them both the best and I hope they are both able to use this incident to improve their own lives and those of others.
