Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too” movie gets first teaser trailer (below). Tyler Perry has again teamed up with Lionsgate to bring you a sequel to “Why Did I get Married,” entitled , “Why Did I Get Married Too.”
It stars: Tyler Perry, Sharon Leal, Janet Jackson, Malik Yoba, Jill Scott, Lamman Rucker, Richard T. Jones, Tasha Smith, Michael J. White, Cicely Tyson, Louis Gossett Jr.
“Why Did I Get Married Too,” reunites the same characters from the original,and introduces the next chapter in their lives,as they struggle with the challenges of marital life.
The close couples reconnect in the Bahamas for their annual one-week reunion to talk about their lives and relationships. However, Mike who is Sheila’s ex-husband hopes to break up her new marriage with Troy and win her back.
The other couples also start to doubt each other’s faithfulness. Angela doesn’t believe Marcud can be faithful, now that he’s a celebrity TV newscaster.
Dianne and Terry’s relationship gets strained from raising children. Janet Jackson plays Patricia who is a successful self-help psychologist, ends up revealing the deep flaws in her seemingly perfect marriage to Gavin.
Each of the couples have to eventually choose between blame and forgiveness,doubt and faith,which will cause life-altering consequences.
Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too” hits theaters on April 2,2010.
