’2012′ movie releases new special effects featurette trailer. Columbia Pictures has released a new “behind the scenes,” special effects featurette (below) for it’s “2012″ movie that’s coming out this weekend.

The movie stars: John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt, Thandie Newton, Danny Glover, and Woody Harrelson.

This clip covers the Yellowstone corruption. They start off showing a few scenes from the movie. Then, it cuts to behind-the-scenes commentary from producers and directors who worked on the film.

They explain that Yellowstone Park is where all the madness begins. It’s like a volcano getting ready to erupt. Next, they show a clip from the scene where Yellowstone finally erupts.

Then they showed more behind-the-scenes footage of how they incorporated the RV into the shot,with fireballs and the ground sinking in.

After that,they showed the behind-the-scenes footage of him getting onto the plain to take off before he is swept away by all the Earth destructing madness.

“2012″ movie hits theaters tomorrow November 13.
