Kristen Stewart talks ‘New Moon’ break up scene & saving Robert Pattinson. “Twilight Saga: New Moon” star, Kristen Stewart recently had a sit down chat with Chuck the Movie Guy (clip below). They talked about filming the epic “New Moon” breakup scene,and the dramatic “run to save Edward” scene.

Chuck started off the interview by asking Kristen Stewart about the big break up scene,and if it was shot in multiple ways.Kristen said, it was basically a death scene for Bella,but without actually dying.

She said,they didn’t try to film the break up scene in multiple ways. They just tried to film it as close to the way it was in the book,as possible. Then she talked about how she emotionally prepared for her scenes.

She said, she filmed a lot of the scenes late at night,wandering around in the woods so it felt very real. Next, she talked about how uncomfortable the long rain scene was to shoot. She had to take her contacts out,and they digitally made her eyes brown.

It concluded,with her talking about filming the big festival scene where she runs to save Edward in Italy. She said, it was like doing theater which she had never done.It was a different experience.

“Twilight Saga: New Moon” hits theaters November 20.
