
‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ movie gets fantastic reviews from top critics. 20th Century Fox’s new animated film, ” Fantastic Mr. Fox” looks to be a hit among top critics this weekend. It got As and Bs across the board.
Owen Gleiberman from Entertainment Weekly gave it an A. He said, “Fantastic Mr. Fox is like a homegrown Wallace and Gromit caper. To Wes Anderson: More, please! ”
Chris Barsanti over at Filmcritic.com gave it an A-,saying, “The Fantastic Mr. Fox brings a wry and mature sensibility to the story, enhancing the original’s larkish fun.”
Lou Lumenick of the New York Post rated it a B+. He stated, “It’s more Wes Anderson than Roald Dahl, but there’s plenty for kids and adults to dig.”
A.O. Scott of the New York Times gave it another B+. He said it’s “…Eccentric and just right.”
Peter Travers gave it a B rating. He said it was , “…An adventure in pure imagination that plays to the smart kid in all of us.”
Claudia Puig gave it another B. He stated ,it was “…A sometimes witty, if odd, cartoon for all ages.”
“Fantastic Mr. Fox” movie opened up in New York and Los Angeles for a limited release this weekend. It will be released nationwide on November 25.
