Taylor Lautner talks Taylor Swift,’New Moon’ & more on NBC’s Today Show. Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in the hit movie of the weekend, “Twilight Saga: New Moon” appeared on NBC’s “Today Show” this morning. He talked a little bit about Taylor Swift,keeping his New Moon physique,and more (clip below).
They started by showing a clip from “Twilight Saga: New Moon”. Then Taylor talked about how great it is to have such great fan support behind them.
Next, he talked about how busy he’s been because of the “Twilight Saga” franchise. He said, he’s been filming for 6 of the last 8 months.
After that, he talked about how he hired a trainer after filming “Twilight” so he could bulk up,and continue playing the role of Jacob Black. He said he had to double the amount of food he ate on a daily basis.
He said his physique will change, if the role requires it to change. He talked about how he stayed grounded under all the spotlight. He said, he tries to stay true to himself,and talks a lot with his friends and family.
Then he said he blushed when Taylor Swift did a little shout out to him in “Saturday Night Live” monologue. He said he stays focused on the work to avoid all the paparazzi. He concluded, by saying that he wants to continuously challenge himself as an actor,and play different roles.
“Twilight Saga: New Moon” movie is in theaters, now.
