James Cameron ‘Avatar’ releases new Featurette featuring Colonel Quaritch. 20th Century Fox has released another new featurette (below) for the James Cameron’s “Avatar” movie.This one takes a closer look at the character, Colonel Quaritch.
The movie stars: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, and Matt Gerald.
Stephen Lang who plays Colonel Quaritch in the film, narrates this featurette clip. He starts off, talking a little bit about the character he plays. He said, he’s the chief of security on Pandora.
He goes on to describe the planet of Pandora. He says, it’s a lush,beautiful,and hostile environment. Next, he explains what their primary mission is on the planet,which is to mine the largest deposit of a special mineral. However, they run into a species called the Na’vi.
Then he talks about Jake Sully’s character,and how he’s been drafted into the “Avatar” program. He said, it’s a good relationship until it goes south. Jake runs into a problem of figuring out where his loyalties lie. Does his loyalties lie with the humans or his new adoptive tribe. The clip also showed more footage from the film.
