Alicia Keys gave strong ‘Broken Heart’ solo at the 2009 American Music Awards. Alicia Keys performed her second performance of the night at the 2009 American Music Awards. The first,was a duet with Jay-Z in “Empire State Of Mind. This second one,was her new solo single, “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” (video below).

In this performance,she brought a little bit of a 70′s R&B feel. I liked the beat to this song,and her vocals sounded nice as usual. She wore a gold-draped jacket . She looked really cute last night.

She mostly performed around the stage for this one,and performed a couple of dance moves. However,she did play a little piano towards the end. Her backup dancers helped her out with vintage “West Side Story” Broadway moves.

I’m not used to seeing Alicia do so many dance moves. She looked really nice,doing them. The crowd love it,and gave her a screaming applause at the end.
