Black Eyed Peas gave a “Boom Pow” & “Halfway” at the 2009 American Music Awards. The Black Eyed Peas who have been at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts for the majority of the year,took to the 2009 American Music Award stage last night,and performed their “Meet Me Halfway,” and “Boom Boom Pow” songs. (video below).

Fergie started it off by singing “Meet Me Halfway” with those strong vocals of hers.Then, another member came out to spit his rap verse,as he walked down the stairs.Fergie joined him and started dancing in that sexy little outfit of hers.

Then Will.I.Am came out onto the stage in an “Intergalactic Elvis” looking outfit. He performed his rap verse. The song stopped for a second,and then Tabu strutted around and spit his verse and gave high-fives to some of the audience members,including Adam Lambert.

After “Meet Me Halfway,” they performed “Boom Boom Pow.” Audience members really started to get into it. Will.I.Am spit some rap verses,along with Fergie. Tabu joined in,next.

Towards the end, Fergie performed a strong vocal,singing, “People in The Place. If you wanna get down.” . Then they rocked it out with some strong beats,to conclude. The crowd gave them a standing ovation.
