Janet Jackson gave stunning ‘blast to the past’ 2009 American Music Award act. Janet Jackson raised the roof last night at the 2009 American Music Awards (video below). She sang her new song called, “Make Me,” along with a couple of her past number one hits like: “Control,” “Miss You Much,” “What Have You Done For Me Lately,” and “If.”
She did high paced dance moves,and at one point,even grabbed her crotch like her late brother, Michael Jackson used to do. She wore a buckskin outfit and brown suede boots. Her new “make Me” song was a fun time disco jam and it featured lyrical hat-tip to Michael’s “Don’t Stop Til You get Enough” song.
The performance was awesome,and I love to see Janet dance. She’s got the moves. Members of the Black Eyed Peas,Jermaine Jackson, Mary J Blige,and Carrie Underwood cheered her on during her fast paced routine.
She capped off her performance,singing a hyped up version of “Together Again.” The audience loved her and gave her a shower of applause.
