Kelly Clarkson hit strong ‘Already Gone’ notes at the 2009 American Music Awards. Another former American Idol contestant. Actually the first winner of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson performed her new song, “Already Gone” at the 2009 American Music Awards last night (video below).

She delivered her expected strong vocals throughout the song,and wore an elegant black dress while performing the ballet. As the performance went on, the vocals got even stronger. It took me back to those old American Idol days, when she was on the show.

She was in my opinion,one of the strongest, if not the strongest to ever grace the “American Idol” stage.

Towards the end of her performance, she sung the chorus beautifully,hitting the notes with power. The crowd gave her a roaring applause at the end.
