Taylor Lautner caught grapes,talked ‘New Moon’ & more on Conan O’Brien. “Twilight Saga: New Moon” movie star, Taylor Lautner appeared on the Conan O’Brien show last night (video below). He talked about taking his shirt off in “New Moon,” caught grapes with his mouth,and more. It was a very funny show.
Taylor arrived on Conan’s show to more loud screams from the fans. Taylor said he did not expect such a successful opening for “Twilight Saga: New Moon.” He said, it was amazing.
He talked about the crazy riots that went on in Brazil upon their arrival. He said 2,000 girls rushed into the hotel,got passed security,and were about to find him. He said that was the only time he felt scared.
Then he talked about the different level of fans they meet. Some are screamers,criers,and people that just pass out.
Next, he talked about working out for the role of Jacob Black. He said it was a lot of work. They also did a funny bit about his character always taking his shirt off during “New Moon.”
Next, they showed a clip of Taylor doing martial arts when he was younger. It was really intense. I had never seen that one before. He talked about how intense the “Twilight” moms are. One of them stole a card board cut-out of Taylor Lautner in the mall one time.
After that, they showed the “New Moon” bedroom scene. Next, they talked about a game that Taylor and Kristen Stewart played,where she threw grapes for long distances,and he would catch them in his mouth. He got quite good at it. To conclude they did a brief demonstration of the grape catching game. He was definitely good at it.
