Tiger Woods drops out of upcoming golf tournament due to accident. Tiger Woods is now reporting on his own website that he will not be playing in the upcoming “Chevron World Challenge” golf tournament that’s scheduled to take place later on this week.

He stated, “I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week. I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I’m very sorry that I can’t be there.”

The site also says that Tiger will not be competing in anymore golf tournaments this year,which is not a huge deal,since there’s only one month left in the year,but still,that’s what it says.

The tournament is currently trying to find someone to replace Tiger in the event. They are looking at the top 50 players in the world for replacement prospects. The tournament also says, they will be refunding tickets that were purchased at face value,starting next week.
