James Cameron ‘Avatar’ releases new Featurette featuring Colonel Quaritch. 20th Century Fox has released another new featurette (below) for the James Cameron’s “Avatar” movie.This one takes a closer look at the character, Colonel Quaritch.

The movie stars: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, and Matt Gerald.

Twilight ‘New Moon’ opening day & midnight sales easily broke records. According to reports from Reuters, the Summit Entertainment hit movie, “Twilight Saga: New Moon” broke the record for single day sales for the North American box office.

It earned $72.7 million across the United States and Canada on Friday. It also broke the midnight record sales,with $26.3 million. The old record for single day sales was about $62.2 million,which was held by the “Batman” sequel “The Dark Night.”

Last year the original “Twilight” movie brought in $70 million over it’s entire opening weekend, so “New Moon” has definitely outlapped it by leaps and bounds,and it’s only Saturday. Read the rest of this entry »

Oliver gets a visit from his dark nemesis & more in CW’s “Smallville” episode 10 of season 9. We’ve gathered up a few spoilers for the show,along with a promo clip,after the jump. The episode is entitled, “Disciple.”

In “Disciple” episode, Oliver will help Clark fight a horrible future that is destined for all, if Zod is not stopped. Steve Bacic is going to playing the “Dark Archer” in this episode.

The Dark Archer is a bad guy version of Oliver’s “Green Arrow” alter ego. Also the “Dark Archer” apparently mentored Oliver,and he’s from a Celtic cult of assassins. Read the rest of this entry »

Hot ‘U2′ Minneapolis concert tickets became available today. Today, the hot Minneapolis U2 concert tickets went onsale at Ticketmaster and Ticket Network. This is the concert where they’ll be performing Live, at the TCF Bank Stadium.

According to reports, the tickets are going to be priced between $30-$250. They started selling a couple of hours ago. Reports say that only about 10,000 pieces of the $30 tickets will be sold for the U2 Concert in Minneapolis at the TCF Bank Stadium. Read the rest of this entry »

Robert,Kristin & Taylor talk New Moon & laugh it up on Jimmy Kimmel. The three main “Twilight Saga: New Moon” stars, Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart,and Taylor Lautner made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel set last night. It was probably one of the funniest appearances I’ve ever seen (clip below).

To start if off,they talked about how crazy this whole “Twilight Saga” franchise has gotten. They talked about who their craziest fans are. They said Brazil fans are pretty crazy,and England are the most laid back.

Oprah Winfrey revealed the real reason she’s quitting her talk show. Earlier today on her show, Oprah stated the real reason why she’ll be ending her talk show in 2011,after 25 years.

As she made the announcement on the show today,she began to tear up. She said, That she loves this show,it has been her life,and after 25 years,it just feels right.

She stated, “I love this show … this show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye. 25 years feels right in my bones and my spirit. It’s the perfect number, the exact right time.” Read the rest of this entry »

Miley Cyrus, still scheduled to perform in North Carolina despite accident. We reported earlier that one of Miley Cyrus’ tour buses got in an accident this morning,killed the bus driver,and injured 9 others that were on board. However, Miley,herself,was not onboard the bus that was in the accident.

Now, TMZ reports that they spoke with an employee at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro,NC. The employee confirmed that Miley Cyrus is still set to perform her concert there on Sunday. The employee stated, “The show is going on as scheduled.”

Robert Pattinson talks shirtless “New Moon” scene & more on Ellen DeGeneres. Twilight,New Moon,and Eclipse movie star, Robert Pattinson showed up on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show earlier today. He talked about working out for his shirtless “New Moon” scene, crazy fans,and more (video clip below).

Robert Pattinson entered the Ellen DeGeneres studio to the sound of a thousand screaming fans, gave Ellen a hug,and then started talking about all the “New Moon” touring that they’ve been doing.

Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in the hit movie of the weekend, “Twilight Saga: New Moon” appeared on NBC’s “Today Show” this morning. He talked a little bit about Taylor Swift,keeping his New Moon physique,and more (clip below).

They started by showing a clip from “Twilight Saga: New Moon”. Then Taylor talked about how great it is to have such great fan support behind them.

Brad Pitt to star in new ‘Dark Void’ movie. Variety is reporting that Bradd Pitt’s Plan B shingle and Reliance Big Entertainment have signed a deal with Capcom to create a movie that’s based on the computer game, “Dark Void.” They also have plans to make it into a franchise.

The plot for “Dark Void,” centers around a pilot who crash lands in the Bermuda Triangle after a routine mission and finds himself in an alternate world resembling a primitive Earth where aliens with superior technology plan to take over civilization.

Capcom is scheduled to release the video game on various platforms in North America and Europe in January of next year. Read the rest of this entry »
