Carrie Underwood performed a great ‘Casanova’ at the 2009 American Music Awards. Carrie Underwood gave us a more revealing look with her 2009 American Music Awards performance (video below). She sported a short outfit,which showed off those gorgeous legs of hers.

Her performance started off with her surrounded by her dancers. Then she started singing her song, “Cowboy Casanova.” As she kept singing,she hit the notes with powerful authority. She even performed a couple of dance steps, here and there.

Whitney Houston delivered ‘strength’ at the 2009 American Music Awards. Whitney Houston gave a moving 2009 American Music Awards performance last night,singing her new song, “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” (video below) She used her strong vocals to sing each verse of the song with mad authority.

She used convincing facial expressions to further convey her message to the crowd. She wore a beautiful white dress. As she continued to sing,she invoked even more emotion into the song. Heck,it made me want to get up and yell. It was very moving. You go,girl.

Janet Jackson gave stunning ‘blast to the past’ 2009 American Music Award act. Janet Jackson raised the roof last night at the 2009 American Music Awards (video below). She sang her new song called, “Make Me,” along with a couple of her past number one hits like: “Control,” “Miss You Much,” “What Have You Done For Me Lately,” and “If.”

She did high paced dance moves,and at one point,even grabbed her crotch like her late brother, Michael Jackson used to do. She wore a buckskin outfit and brown suede boots. Shakira gave a ‘Stomp The Yard’ routine at 2009 American Music Awards. Shakira started off her 2009 American Music Awards performance (video below) with a “Stomp The Yard” dance step,along with her dancers. Then,she sang her new song, “Give It Up To Me.” She looked cute as ever,with a sort of new hair style.

They had what sounded like, girls rapping Lil Wayne’s rap verse. Then she started singing some more and doing her weird gyrating dance. I don’t really get it,but Shakira is so sexy,that it really doesn’t matter. She can do whatever kind of weird dance she wants around me.

Rihanna brought ‘Hard’ new sound to the 2009 American Music Awards. Rihanna kicked off her performance (video below) with a sci-fi themed clip that featured an ominous voiceover,which stated, “Ladies and gentlemen, for those of you who are easily frightened, we suggest you turn away now. To those of you who think they can take it, we say: Welcome to the madhouse.”

The opening video sequence showed images of a woman that was strapped to a medical table with shiny instruments that covered her privates. A team of blue ghost figures implanted a series of computer chips into her body,and then she sprang to life.

Jennifer Lopez gave a knock out performance at the 2009 American Music Awards. Jennifer’s performance (video below) started off with a boxing style setting,with the announcer standing in a boxing ring,announcing her arrival. Then, Jennifer walked though the crowd in a boxing robe,as if to appear that she’s about to have a boxing match.

Then,she took the mic and started singing her new song, “Louboutins.” Her backup dancers were dressed up as boxers as they performed the choreography. I have to admit, the beat to this song sounded pretty damn good.

Lady Gaga Gave fiery,smashing 2009 American Music Awards performance. Lady Gaga started of her 2009 “American Music Awards” performance off by singing her song, “Bad Romance” (video below). She wore a glittering H.R. Geiger-inspired headpiece and a nude bodysuit,along with with six pansexual dancers that whirled around her.

She started singing some high notes, then set down her headpiece,and started doing some very unique dance moves. After that ,she collapsed to the floor while her dancers crawled behind her.

Jay Z & Alicia Keys rocked ‘Empire State Of Mind’ at American Music Awards. New York Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez came on to introduce Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
Alicia started it off by singing “New York,New York” by Frank Sinatra (video below), while Jay-Z stood by the piano.

Alicia’s voice is was so great in this song. After that, the beat came on for “Empire State of Mind.” Jay-Z bobbed around the stage,sporting a white Tuxedo top,while he spat those dope “Empire State of Mind” lyrics.

Eminem rocked the stage with 50 Cent at 2009 American Music Awards. Super rapstar,Eminem took to the 2009 “American Music Awards” stage earlier tonight to give an awesome performance. He performed his kickass song, “Crack a Bottle,” (video below) and brought on 50 cent to perform his verse in the song.

50 cent said we might see a surprise performance from him,in the pre-show. I loved it,it was great. The crowd was rockin along with him.

Adam Lambert heated up the 2009 American Music Awards with hot act. American Idol’s Adam Lambert just broke away from the pack with his freaky performance tonight. He performed his new song, “For Your Entertainment” (video below). He said it was going to be sexy last week,in an interview with MTV news,and he did not lie.

I swear at one point, he grabbed some lady’s head and rubbed it in his croch for few seconds. It was wild. He also dragged a lady across the stage.
