New Years 2010 in Time Square New York Airs Live, Online. The 2010 New Year’s Festivities in Time Square, New York have already begun with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minillo and is currently airing live online via the Ustream video feed (below). It will air all night long until midnight or when the show is over. They will be ringing in the 2010 New Year with musical performances from : The Black Eyed Peas, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Keri Hilson, Colbie Caillat,Robin Thicke, and more.

Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark will arrive to host the “New Year’s Rockin Eve” show later on tonight. It will be the 38th straight year for the show. It’s scheduled to air live at 10pm eastern time on ABC. I’m not sure if they’re going to broadcast it on this Ustream feed (below),but it appears that they might. Twilight’s Taylor Lautner gets nominated for a People’s Choice Award. According to the Examiner, Taylor Lautner has been nominated to receive a people’s Choice Award for “Favorite Breakout Movie Actor.” He is also scheduled to show up for the awards show,so he’ll pick up his award if he wins. The “Twilight” movie is nominated for “Favorite On-Screen Team,” “Favorite Movie,” and “Favorite Franchise.”

His very popular co-stars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are also nominated for individual awards. Kristen is nominated for “Best Movie Actress,” and Robert Pattinson is nominated for ” Best Movie Actor.” Kristen Stewart will be going up against such actresses as: Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, and Drew Barrymore. Glee’s Jane Lynch explained the uniqueness of ‘Glee’ On the Bonnie Hunt Show. Bonnie Hunt recently interviewed Jane Lynch from Fox’s hit TV show, “Glee,” and she talked about why Glee is so unique,the power of music,and more. Jane started off the interview by revealing that she was in the choir in high school back in the 70′s. She said, ” Music is the great equalizer where everybody’s the same,and they’re all sort of working towards one really beautiful thing. You can’t be selfish, you can’t have an attitude if you’re going to sing in a group.and make a really beautiful sound.”

The Cougars got beat down in the Armed Forces Bowl. According to the Houston Chronicle, the Cougars took a mean beatdown from the Air Force Falcons in today’s Armed Forces Bowl. They took an agonizing 47-20 loss. They say UH quarterback, Case Keenum threw six interception passes,which was a career high for him,and could send his NFL draft stock way down. The Courgars’ defense was also unable to stop the Air Force’s powerful rushing attack.

The Cougars missed out on their chance to get their first 11 win season since 1979,and to finish the season in The Associated Press’ Top 25. The Air Force finished the season 8-5 and got revenge on UH for beating them in last year’s Armed Forces Bowl in a 34-28 loss. Read the rest of this entry »

Robert Pattinson chipped his tooth while flossing. According to Bryce Dallas Howard , Robert Pattinson chipped his tooth while flossing of all things. Bryce is Robert Pattinson’s co-star as the evil vampire, Victoria. Bryce revealed the strange fact to New York Magazine when they asked her about his hygiene during the promotion of her new film, “The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond.”

She said that he has great hygiene. She stated, “Actually, he’s incredibly hygienic. He told me this story that made me crack up. He was like, ‘Oh, I have to go to the dentist.’ And I was like, ‘Oh no, what happened? Just a check-up?’ And he was like, ‘No, I chipped a tooth.’ And I was like, ‘How?’ And he was like, ‘Flossing.’ Who does that? I don’t even floss. So he’s hygienic. Glee’s Jane Lynch talks about the show and serenades George Lopez. Jane Lynch who plays Sue Sylvester on Fox’s new hit show, “Glee” appeared on the George Lopez show a couple of weeks ago,and serenaded George Lopez with a silly Spanish song,talked about Glee,and more.

To start off, Jane and George took a look at a clip from one of their projects,which revealed that Jane has played the “bitch” on other stuff,not just “Glee.” George Lopez said he thinks every project she’s involved in, turns out to be a hit. Then Jane pulled out her guitar and serenaded George with a love song since he made her feel so good about herself. It was in Spanish,so I have no idea what she was singing,but I’m sure George knew. Rush Limbaugh gets hospitalized in Hawaii with chest pains. According to TMZ, popular radio show personality, Rush Limbaugh has been hospitalized in Hawaii after suffering chest pains. They say paramedics responded to a call at the Kahala Hotel in Honolulu yesterday afternoon and transported to Queens Medical Center.

According to a report they received, he was in serious condition when he arrived at the hospital. The hotel took drastic measures to get Rush Limbaugh out of the resort without being seen. The hotel shut down a wing of the hotel and the guest elevators. Rush Limbaugh was transported using the employee elevator bank.

Rush Limbaugh released a statement on his website,saying, Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes and he will keep you updated via RushLimbaugh.com. Read the rest of this entry »

Tiger Woods loses AT&T as a sponsor. Access Hollywood reports that Tiger Woods Has recently lost his latest sponsor AT&T. They say that the telecommunications giant ended its relationship with Tiger Woods just one day after his 34th birthday.

Now, I’m starting to lose count of how many sponsors he’s lost. Let’s see he’s lost Accenture,Gillette,and Gatorade. The watch company, Tag Heuer said they were going to downscale or phase out their use of Tiger’s image in certain markets for a period of time because they had to take into consideration,some of their particular customers who might not agree with the situation.However, Nike,his biggest sponsor, has decided to stay with him. Texas Tech’s Mike Leach gets fired for mistreating a player.According to ABC news, Texas Tech University football coach, Mike Leach got fired earlier today due to allegations of mistreating one of his players.They say he was about to receive an $800,000 dollar bonus tomorrow,and also signed a $12.7 million dollar contract for five years earlier this year. However, now he will just receive a severance package of $400,000 annually for the next four years.

He also got fired just days before his Red Raiders team is scheduled to play Michigan State in the nationally televised Alama Bowl game. The university had initially suspended Mike Leach,but he decided to fight back by hiring an attorney to challenge his suspension. Read the rest of this entry »

Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams died of throat cancer today. According to thewrestlingdaily.com and Examiner, pro wrestler Steven Williams died of throat cancer today. He was only 49 years old. He went by the stage name, “Dr. Death.”

Steve started wrestling in 1979,and won numerous titles in Japan. He competed for Mid-South Wrestling , the National Wrestling Alliance ,and World Championship Wrestling. He also had brief runs for the World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling. Read the rest of this entry »
