James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ new 5th featurette shows more unseen footage. 20th Century Fox has released another inside look featurette (below) for its new action/adventure flick, James Cameron’s “Avatar.” It delves deeper into the characters,and explains more about them.It also shows a ton of more unseen footage. The movie stars: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, and Matt Gerald.
This featurette clip starts off showing new, unseen movie footage. Then they take a deeper look inside the film. They explain what the different creatures are,as well as the humanoid Navi,which stand 9 to 10 feet tall.
The Navi ride the Dire Horses on land,and use the Banshee to hunt from the air. The Leonopteryx is the largest creature to fly through the air in this flick. Predators like viperwolves,Titanothere,and Thanator roam the land.
The humans use military ships to get from place to place. Some of them are: the Scorpion,the Samson,and the powerful Dragon. They wear an A.M.P. suit to navigate the jungles. Next, they describe the “Avatar” suit which is used to communicate with the Navi. Jake Sully uses his experience in the “Avatar” suit to realize what is really worth fighting for.
James Cameron’s “Avatar” movie hits theaters December 18.
