“Everybody’s Fine” movie gets ‘OK’ reviews from top movie critics. The new Robert De Niro comedy movie, “Everybodys Fine” from Miramax Films, hit theaters today. The reviews are in from the top movie critics in the biz. They seem to think it was at least ok,giving it a few Bs,Cs,and one D. It also stars : Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, and Sam Rockwell.

Wesley Morris from the Boston Globe gave it a C. He said, “De Niro’s better than fine, the rest is sentimental.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B-. He stated, “Of the actors playing the children, everybody’s fine.”

Michael Phillips from the Chicago Tribune gave it a B,stating, “It’s a relief to see Robert De Niro giving an honest, effective starring performance in a project that does not stink.”

Lisa Schwarzbaum at Entertainment Weekly rated it a D. She stated, “although Frank’s not supposed to be a very sophisticated man, it requires saintly moviegoing patience I clearly don’t have to put up with his level of unworldliness.”

Filmcritic.com’s Jesse Hassenger gave it a C grade. He said, “…a movie that can’t help but tidy up after itself, taking its title perhaps a touch too seriously.”
