American Idol’s Kara DioGuardi defends Adam Lambert’s 2009 AMA performance. According to Access Hollywood, American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi fully supports Adam Lambert’s recent controversial 2009 American Music Awards performance. She said that he always delivers the unexpected,and that’s what we like about him. She stated, “We always know he’s going to shock us, right?” He’s going to wow us and give us the unexpected, and that’s his thing. That’s what we look for.”

They say that she also blames the bad economic conditions of the country for ABC deciding to boot him from the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show. She said, “We’re living in a pretty bad economic time, so they have to do what they have to do to keep their advertisers. Networks are doing what they think their viewers want and don’t want, so it’s just budgetary.”

They do report that the “Jimmy Kimmel” show had nothing to do with Adam’s appearance being canceled. It was the decision of the network executives,and Jimmy Kimmel still hopes to be able to bring him on once the heat dies down over his American Music Awards performance.

Adam Lambert has also recently twittered that he was booted from Dick Clark’s “New Year’s Rockin Eve” with Ryan Seacrest 2010,which is another ABC show. He wrote, “Yes, sadly friends, ABC has canceled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. don’t blame them. It’s the FCC heat.”

Adam will,however, appear on “The Jay Leno Show” on December 21.
