New ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’ Squeakuel movie trailer features the “Chipettes.” 20th Century Fox has released another movie trailer (below) for “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel.” This one in particlar, features the “Chipettes” singing Beyonce’s song, ” Single Ladies.” The movie stars: Jason Lee, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris, Christina Applegate, and Amy Poehler.

This clip shows Ian Hawke played by comedian, David Cross as he preps his lady chipmunks to do a performance. It looks like Ian went out and got his own talking chipmunks after the falling out in the first movie.

Ian gives them words of encouragement,and it gets them excited. They go out and start to perform. Ian starts taping them with his camera phone,and then advertises that he’s their manager on it. Alvin,Theodore,and Simon see it,and think they’re awesome. After their performance,the “Chipettes” get a standing ovation.

“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” hits theaters December 23.
