Jake Sully interacts with the Navi in new James Cameron ‘Avatar’ clip. 20th Century Fox has released another new clip (below) for James Cameron’s “Avatar” movie. This one shows more exclusive footage of him talking and interacting with the Navi tribe member, Neytiri played by Zoe Saldana.
The movie stars: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang,and Matt Gerald.
This clip starts with character, Jake Sully making a video log of his time on Pandora. Then it cuts to a scene of him talking and interacting with the Navi tribe member, Neytiri. It’s accompanied with the voice of Jake Sully in the background as he describes his interactions with Neytiri. He says that she calls him a scoun, which means moron. The clip shows her trying to train him to shoot arrows.
James Cameron’s “Avatar” movie hits theaters December 18.

The word for moron is “skXaung”. Prof Paul Fromer, who invented the language, just explained it on the radio here. The x means the k is “ejective” – made with a popping sound. But Sully hasn’t learnt that yet.
