Carrie Underwood officially gets engaged to hockey star, Mike Fisher. The New York Daily News reports that country music star, Carrie Underwood has officially gotten engaged to Ottawa Senators hockey star, Mike Fisher.

They say a rep for people magazine confirmed it,stating, “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time.”

Also Mike Fisher confirmed the news just before he started preparing for his game tonight,which is against the Boston Bruins. He stated, “It’s true. We’re both obviously excited and very happy.” Mike Fisher is 29 years old and Carrie Underwood is 26 years old. Mike reportedly proposed to Carrie at his home yesterday,and then he shared the news with his friends later on that day.
