Adam Lambert talked past day job, 2009 AMA act & more on Jay Leno. Jay Leno brought on American Idol season 8 runner-up and recent center of controversy,Adam Lambert. They talked about his past day job at “Starbucks,” the 2009 AMA controversy,and more (video below).
Adam started off the interview by talking about how his life has changed since “American Idol.” He said he has so many people buying his cd,and are very supportive. He revealed that he used to have a day job. He said, he worked at “Starbucks” when he was 16 years old. He liked it because he got to meet new people,but he stunk of coffee beans when he got off work.
He talked about his brother for a little while. He said, his brother just graduated college and has a little bit of musical ability as well. Then he talked about how his parents have always been supportive of him,and that he dropped out of college because it just wasn’t for him. He also revealed that he used to do theater,writing,and session work.The session work consisted of singing demos,and jingles for other singers or songwriters.
He said, he thinks people will miss Paula Abdul on American Idol. He thinks she’s amazing. They talked about his recent 2009 “American Music Awards” controversial performance. Adam said, to be fair, he did surprise the network with his performance so he understands that they had to do what they needed to do. He also wanted to clear up rumors that were going on about him. He said, he hasn’t developed a make-up line yet,and he is still speaking with his father. He concluded, by saying him and his father laughed about his 2009 AMA performance. Wow great interview! Just at a glance Adam looks fantastic! Very relaxed, comfortable, eloquent speaker and attentive! Nice! I’m surprised at how flexible he is, and funny! He has charisma and the chemistry between Jay Leno and Adam is just energetic! Loved all of it!
