Rapper, TI Got Released From Prison Today To A Halfway House

Rapper, TI got released from prison today to a halfway house. Billboard.com reports that rapstar, T.I. (real name: Clifford J. Harris Jr.) got released from prison to an Atlanta,Georgia halfway house. He had served a near 7 months of a sentence which was supposed to be one year and a day. He served his sentence in an Arkansas federal prison for a weapon charge. He was originally scheduled to be released on March 10,2010.
His attorney,Steve Sadow said that T.I. is on his way to Atlanta to report to a halfway house later on today. He stated, “He’s on his way back to the Atlanta area. He has to report to a halfway house in Atlanta sometime this evening. And he will then spend somewhere between the next two or three months in a halfway house, ending his Bureau of Prison sentence.”
T.I. was arrested for trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers from undercover federal agents two years ago. He was facing a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison,but reached a plea deal,which got him the shorter sentence.
