‘Vampire Diaries’ hires 24′s Mia Kirshner to play Alaric’s dangerous wife. Michael Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly has reported that CW’s hit show, “Vampire Diaries” is bringing on 24′s Mia Kirshner to play a recurring role on the show.

Mia is going to be playing the role of Isobel who is the sweet and dangerous wife of Alaric. Alaric is Matt Davis’ history teacher on the show. She is reportedly going to be making her debut appearance in the very first show,back from their break on January 21.

However, the episode has already been shot,so it looks like they may have to do a reshoot. According to one of their insiders, they are, in fact, doing a reshoot,but it won’t matter to us ,of course, as long as the final outcome is good.
