Hailey’s lawyer says Jon Gosselin’s apartment robbery was a publicity stunt. According to the New York Post, Hailey Glassman’s Lawyer, Anand Ahuja said that she thinks Jon Gosselin’s apartment robbery incident is nothing more than a “huge,huge publicity stunt.”

Now, the cops are starting to wonder if the story is true. The Police noted that reporters began arriving at the precinct house before they even had a chance to interview Jon Gosselin about the destruction that had occurred.

One of their sources said, “How did they know so quickly? No cop could have tipped them — it was too quick. Cops only just found out and they the media were already set up outside.” They also said TMZ celebrity gossip site may have been called before the police were notified.

Jon said he saw a note stabbed into is bedroom dresser with Hailey’s name signed at the bottom of it. Hailey says she did write the note,but insists that she did not stab it into his dresser with a butcher knife. She also swears that she did not tear apart his apartment and steal anything.

Hailey’s lawyer stated, “To me it appears to be a huge, huge publicity stunt. There was nothing taken she wasn’t entitled to.” She said Jon told her, “I am going to be evicted, so take with you whatever you want to take.”

Kate thinks that Hailey did do it and Jon’s Lawyer Stated, “It’s extremely perplexing and incredulous that she would acknowledge that she wrote the note that was speared with a butcher’s knife,and yet she disclaims that she trashed the apartment.”
