NY Post says Vampire Diaries beats Twilight Saga movies. The battle is on between the “Twilight Saga” movies and CW’s hit TV show, “Vampire Diaries,” according to the New York Post. However, they say that Vampire Diaries is the clear winner. Joselyn Davis from Clevver TV put together this interesting clip (below),which details out what was stated by the New York Post.

The writer gave three reasons why “Vampire Diaries” is better than “Twilight Saga.” The first one was blood and gore. He wrote, ” The show is a more traditional vampire horror tale than Twilight. While the movies focus more on romance than murder. The Cullens don’t even have normal vampire fangs.”

He said the “sex factor” was the 2nd reason he likes Vampire Diaries more. He wrote, ” so far in the Twi-saga,we haven’t seen any action on this front. The film promotes vampires having falsely neutered innocence,which really isn’t in line with normal vampire characteristics.”

Finally, he wrote that, ” Bella is a blank slate without any actual personality. Elena sets an example for young girls as strong minded women,and when Elena learns that Stefan is a vampire,she is truly horrified.” I don’t know. That’s some pretty bold statements. However,both franchises have their fans. I personally like them both in different ways. What do you guys think ?
