James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ movie delivered high tech adventure & a great story. 20th Century Fox’s most anticipated movie of the year, James Cameron’s “Avatar” finally hit theaters this weekend,and I must say it certainly did not disappoint.It filled the full 2 hours and 40 minutes with an awesome story,coupled with great special effects,action, and adventure.

The movie starred: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, and Matt Gerald

“Avatar” revolved around characters, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and the Navi, Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). Jake Sully is a crippled Marine who’s twin brother died while on a mission to Pandora. New ‘Alvin And The Chipmunks’ Squeakuel movie clip shows Dodgeball cremation. 20th Century Fox has revealed a funny new clip from it’s upcoming “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” movie. It involves their first day of school,and being cremated in a rough game of Dodgeball. The movie stars: Jason Lee, Justin Long, David Cross, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris, Christina Applegate, Amy Poehler, and Zachary Levi.

In this clip,Toby finds the chipmunks hiding under a toilet lid because they don’t want to go to school.However, Toby forces them to go. Then it cuts to a clip of them being pounded in a rough game of Dodgeball during physical ed.

The 3D experience for this movie,reportedly takes you even deeper into the depths of this movie masterpiece,which is supposed to be the future of movies. James Cameron came up with the “Avatar” movie concept way back in 1995. However, the technology to support it didn’t come along until about 4 years ago,and even then, they had to still push the limits of today’s current technology.

Glee’s Amber Riley gets surprised by singing with Stevie Wonder. Amber Riley who plays Mercedes Jones on Fox”s hit show, “Glee” got really surprised last week on “Good Day LA” when she got to sing with the legendary Stevie Wonder.

The clip (below) shows the whole exciting event. Stevie Wonder started playing his keyboard and singing. Then they signaled for Amber to come over and join him. She walked over and started singing with him with that huge voice of hers. However, she was so surprised and giddy that she could hardly sing. Stevie was really into it,though. Robert Pattinson displays funny acting moments with tissue in his nose. Access Hollywood recently released this new video clip (below) with Twilight,New Moon,and Eclipse mega movie star, Robert Pattinson displaying some awkward acting moments in an old independent film he was in back in 2008,and it involved tissue hanging from his nose.

The movie was entitled, “How to Be.” These are clips of his audition for the role of the character named, Art in the film.He was 20 years old at the time. The first take shows him trying to recite lines with tissue in his nose. Then, in the next “take,” it takes Robert multiple times to nail a line that read, “Is this your room? New ‘Glee’ Spoilers: Sue Sylvester will sing,dance & more. Michael Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly has recently dropped a couple of new back nine spoilers for Fox’s new hit show, “Glee,” and they sound very interesting.

Apparently, Jane Lynch who plays Sue Sylvester on the show confirmed that she has snagged a musical moment on the show. She said,she’ll be singing and dancing. She stated, “I have read the first two episodes of the back-nine and I can tell you that I will be singing and dancing.”

However, Jane said,she couldn’t reveal what song she’s going to be singing at this time. She stated, “I can’t tell you what I’m singing because it’s top-secret. It’s a very cold song.” Read the rest of this entry »

HBO’s ‘True Blood’ hires J Smith-Cameron to play Sam’s mom in season 3. According to Michael Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly, HBO’s new hit show, “True Blood” is going to be bringing on J.Smith-Cameron to play the recurring role of Sam’s estranged mother, Melinda.

Melinda’s character is described as dirt-poor,hungover,and trashy-looking. Also, Marshall Allman of “Prison Break” will be playing her other son and Sam’s younger brother. They are also still looking to cast Melinda’s husband who will be equally as filthy as Melinda.

Robert Pattinson reportedly hung out & flirted with singer Katy Perry. Twilight,New Moon, and Eclipse movie, star Robert Pattinson was spotted out on the town with singer, Katy Perry the other night,according to Radaronline.com. Now, they say he and Katy got real up close and personal at Dimples Supper Club in Burbank,California. It was a karaoke bar ,and they say that the two looked to be more than just friends. They were there celebrating a friend’s birthday. However, at certain times during the night, Robert and Katy were sitting face-to-face,touching their foreheads together,and just generally acting very flirty with each other. Tiger Woods loses Swiss watch sponsor, ‘Tag Heuer.’ TMZ is now reporting that Tiger Woods’ ongoing scandal has led him to lose another lucrative sponsor of his. They say the Swiss watch company,Tag Heuer has announced that they won’t be using Tiger Woods’ image in any of their new advertisements in the United States

They say the CEO of Tag Heur told a Swiss paper named, Le Matin that they still think he’s a great sportsman,but have to take into account certain sensitivity issues of some of their consumers. The CEO stated, “We recognize Tiger Woods as a great sportsman but we have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers in relation to recent events.”

TMZ releases new clip of choreographer Shane Sparks getting arrested. TMZ has just released an exclusive video clip (below) of famous dance choreographer, Shane Sparks getting arrested earlier today. They say the cameras were rolling when he got arrested and cuffed at his home in North Hollywood this morning.

He was then hauled off to a jail located in Van Nuys, California. He is being held on a $590,000 bail. He was charged with 8 acts of alleged molestation with an underaged girl. They reported that the alleged crimes occurred way back in 1994. They say that the girl he allegedly molested was a dance student of his.

Shane Sparks is a choreographer for Fox’s hit dance show, “So You Think You Can Dance,” and a judge on MTV’s “America’s Best dance Crew.” Read the rest of this entry »
