Desperate Housewives casts Dexter’s Julie Benz to play a good stripper. According to Michael Ausiello over at “Entertainment Weekly,” ABC’s hit show, “Desperate Housewives” has decided bring Dexter alum, Julie Benz onto their show. She’s going to be playing a recurring role of the character, Debbie. Debbie is reported to be a stripper with a heart of gold and has a Masters degree in education aka good stripper.

Teri Hatcher’s character, Susan is supposed to offer her the chance to transition into a more legitimate career,and when she does, Debbie will jump at the chance to do it. Julie Benz is scheduled to appear on at least three episodes. The first one will air sometime in February.

Julie Benz played the character of Rita on Showtime’s “Dexter” TV show. She made a shocking departure from the show in a scene ,which has been described as the most horrific bubble bath in television history. The supposed horrific scene apparently happened in the Dexter season finale last month.
