Mariah Carey filmed winning favorite R&B artist at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards.R&B diva Mariah Carey won a 2010 People’s Choice Award last night for “Favorite R&B Artist,” and it was all filmed in the clip (below). She was up against some great competition,which included: Beyonce,Alicia Keys,Usher,and Jennifer Hudson. When Mariah’s name was called as the winner,her husband, Nick Cannon walked her up to the stage. She almost tripped in her long white dress. She was very gracious.

She said, ” Thank you so much for this award. It really,really means so much to me because it’s from my fans,and my fans,my real fans know that they are my extended family and I love them so much. I want to acknowledge my talented fellow nominees and friends as well. We know they’re all incredible. Thank you to God for all the incredible blessings in my life and I especially want to thank my husband, Nick for helping me with this dress because it’s a drama,and for being my best friend,and for many other things that I probably shouldn’t mention.

Thank you to my mom and my family. Thank you to Doug Morris,L.A. Reid,and everyone at Island Def Jam, Violator,Rune Entertainment,and Cindy Burger. Thank you so much,thank you. God bless you.” She blew the crowd a kiss before walking off the stage.
