Miley Cyrus to end ‘Hannah Montana’ show after 4th season. Access Hollywood is reporting that popstar, Miley Cyrus is set to end her long-running Disney Channel show, “Hannah Montana” after its 4th season. They say a source confirmed the news to them.

The 4th season is scheduled to start shooting on Jan 18. The network does not yet know how many episodes it is going to shoot for the final season,or when the season will wrap up. However, there are enough episodes to air through 2011.

Adam Bonnett who is the senior VP of Programming over at Disney Channel Worldwide said, “You never know in this business,but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes.” They also report that the final season’s plot is going to mirror Miley Cyrus’ own life. Her character is going to have to decide whether she wants to leave her secret double life as a popstar,or just stay an ordinary everyday teen. There will also be a few guest stars to make an appearance on the show in the 4th season. Ray Liotta and “Two and a Half Men” star, Angus Young are reported to make an appearance on the show.
