‘Vampire Diaries’ releases exclusive sneak peek look at episode 12. Michael Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly posted this new photo from CW’s new hit show “Vampire Diaries” episode 12 of season 1 entitled, “Unpleasantville.” Apparently this show will have a 50′s theme to it. Michael Ausiello reports that it’s an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo from episode 12, which is scheduled to air on January 28. In the episode, Stefan, Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, and Damon will be converging on the high school for a 50′s themed dance.

In other “Vampire Diaries” news, the show,along with “Supernatural won a 2010 People’s Choice Award this past Monday. “Vampire Diaries” beat out The Good Wife, V, Flash Forward, and NCIS: Los Angeles for Best New Drama. Supernatural beat Heroes, True Blood, Lost, and Vampire Diaries to win Best Sci Fi/Fantasy Show. Those were huge wins for the two shows and the network.

Vampire Diaries is scheduled to return with all new episodes on January 21,and Supernatural will follow up on the same day right after Vampire Diaries in the 8pm central time slot on the CW.
