CW’s ’90210′ casts Ryan O’Neal to play Teddy’s dad. Michael Ausiello over at “Entertainment Weekly” is reporting that CW’s ’90210″ has hired Ryan O’Neal to take on the role of Teddy’s (Trevor Donovan) father. Michael Ausiello said his sources confirmed with him exclusively that Ryan O’Neal is going to play the super-famous star father of Trevor Donovan’s character, Teddy Montgomery. Ryan O’Neal is set to appear in multiple episodes. His first episode is reported to probably show up in April. 90210 is scheduled to return from its midseason break on March 9.

Ryan O’Neal has recently been noticeable for his on and off again relationship with the recently deceased Charlie’s Angels actress, Farrah Fawcett. His recent acting resume includes appearances on Fox “Bones” as Max Keenan, Desperate Housewives as Rodney Scavo,and “Malibu’s Most Wanted” movie with Jamie Kennedy. He also has a slew of other projects he’s worked in on his IMDB page,but they’re completely foreign to me. But “90210″ is a great show,and I’m sure he’ll do well.
