Fox ‘Glee’ gets an early season 2 renewal confirmation. Michael Ausiello over at “Entertainment Weekly” has just reported some great news for all of you “Glee” fans out there. “Glee” has received an early renewal notice for season 2.Michael Ausiello reports that Fox has given “Glee” an early season 2 pickup,and Fox will be launching a nationwide casting search this February in an effort to fill three new roles for it’s upcoming 2nd season of “Glee.”

Fox sent out a press release, stating, “Auditions will be open to amateur individuals as well as professionals between the ages of 16-26, and all hopefuls will be able to submit auditions online. Additional details will be announced soon [via] fox.com/glee.”

The current first season of “Glee” is reported to start back up in April of this year after taking a super long 4 month hiatus. That’s longer than the usual summer break. What were they thinking ? Hmm, maybe they just couldn’t get fit back into the schedule until April. I’m not really sure,but thing’s for sure, you guys will be seeing a lot more of “Glee” in the future.
