‘Spider-Man 4′ Movie Gets Rid Of Tobey Maguire And Director, Sam Raimi
‘Spider-Man 4′ movie gets rid of Tobey Maguire and director, Sam Raimi. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” Sony’s huge Spider-Man 4 movie has gotten rid the main star, Tobey Maguire and the director, Sam Raimi. They report that it is official that Tobey Maguire and director, Sam Raimi will not continue on with the franchise in the 4th installment. This occurred after seven weeks of Sam Raimi arguing with Sony. There are no reports on who will be the new star or new director.
Sony is now going to move forward with a new filmmaking team for Spider-Man 4,and a different script, written by James Vanderbilt, which will put Spider-Man back in high school. Director Sam Raimi made a statement, saying, “Working on the Spider-Man movies was the experience of a lifetime for me. While we were looking forward to doing a fourth one together, the studio and Marvel have a unique opportunity to take the franchise in a new direction, and I know they will do a terrific job.”
Spider-Man 4 was originally scheduled for a 2011 release date, but this event has halted production, and the movie will now have a 2012 release date. I don’t know. This sounds like a complete ‘Cluster F’ to me. Spider-Man back in high school,WTF ?
