Twilight’s Kellan Lutz may get cast as the new ‘Conan The Barbarian’. According to Just Jared and Deadline news, Twilight,New Moon,and Eclipse movie star, Kellan Lutz may be your next “Conan the Barbarian”. He’s apparently auditioned for the role,and it’s reportedly down to just him and two other guys.

They say that the “Conan the Barbarian” movie is getting a reboot with director, Marcus Nispel who directed “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Friday the 13th” movies. As of last week, the casting for the new “Conan the Barbarian” movie got narrowed down to Twilight’s Kellan Lutz and Jason Momoa. However, Deadline reported that there’s a third unknown actor in the mix who’s up for the role. They say he’s a better established actor also.

Jason Momoa’s acting credits include roles in “Stargate: Atlantis” as Ronon Dex,and “Baywatch” as Jason Loane. He appeared in 44 episodes of Baywatch from 1999-2001 and 78 episodes of Stargate from 2005-2009. And as we all know, Kellan Lutz plays Emmit Cullen in the “Twilight Saga” movie series. The new “Conan the Barbarian” movie is scheduled to start filming on March 15 of this year.
