Elena gets hunted,attacked & more in CW’s “Vampire Diaries” episode 12 of season 1. We’ve got some spoilers for the show,along with an intense promo clip after the jump. The episode is entitled, “Unpleasantville,” and it looks like Elena is going to get hunted down by a new vampire and attacked.

In “Unpleasantville” episode, Stefan and Damon will try and figure out the identity of the new vampire that has arrived in town. Stefan will also give Elena jewelry filled with Vervain to protect her family and friends. Matt will be hurting for money,and will get a job at the Mystic Grill where former high school football star, Ben (guest star Sean Faris) works as a bartender.

Ben will come to Bonnie’s aid when he notices that Damon is bothering her. Damon and Stefan will accompany Elena to a school dance that has a 1950′s theme, and Alaric (guest star Matt Davis) will introduce himself to Damon there. From the promo,it also looks like Elena gets hunted down by the new vampire at the school dance. It gets pretty intense.

“Vampire Diaries” episode 12 of season 1 airs Thursday January 28 at 7pm central time on the CW.
