Glee’s Lea Michele says she’s happy Idina Menzel joined the show. According to Zap2it and Lea Michele’s Twitter, “Glee” star, Lea Michele is very happy to have Tony Award winner, Idina Menzel on the show. This past Thursday she tweeted, “On set with the lovely Idina Menzel:) So happy she is on our show!” Idina has just started filming her “Glee” episodes after being cast to join the show last month as a guest star.

Idina Menzel is going to play the director of “Vocal Adrenaline” who are the rivals of Will Schuester’s “Glee” club team, “New Directions.” Idina Menzel is signed on to appear in the entire back nine episodes of this first season,which will start in April, so it looks like the rival “Vocal Adrenaline” team and the regional show choir competition is going to be a big part of these final nine episodes.
