Stefan offers Damon help with tomb in new ‘Vampire Diaries’ episode 12 clip. The CW has released a new webclip for it’s upcoming “Vampire Diaries” episode 12 of season 1. The episode is entitled, “Unpleasantville.” In this clip, Stefan is offering Damon the opportunity to free Kathryn from the tomb,but Damon doesn’t believe him. He’s thinking about it,though. You can really tell.

It starts off with Stefan bringing Damon their father’s journal. After Stefan delivers a few puns, he offers to help Damon open up the tomb,but only to free Kathryn. The other 26 vampires have to stay put. Stefan’s reasoning is, he wants to do anything to get Damon out of Mystic Falls. Damon wants to know his angle because he doesn’t trust Stefan.

Damon tells Stefan, “why would I trust you?” . Stefan replies with, “See that’s your problem Damon. You apply all of your shortcomings to everybody else. If history’s any indication, there’s only one liar among us.” It concludes with a smile and a nod from both of them.

“Vampire Diaries” episode 12 of season 1 airs this Thursday January 28 at 7pm central time on the CW.
