Sam’s existence gets threatened & more in CW’s “Supernatural” episode 13 of season 5. We’ve got a few spoilers for the show,along with a promo clip after the jump. The episode is entitled, “The Song Remains the Same.” It looks like Dean and Sam will have to travel back in time to stop an Angel who’s trying to prevent Sam’s birth from occurring and more.

In “The Song Remains the Same” episode, The angels will send Anna (guest star Julie McNiven) back in time to kill John and Mary Winchester before they can conceive Sam, knowing that if Sam were never born then Lucifer won’t be able to use him as a his vessel. Castiel will send Sam and Dean back to 1978 so they can stop Anna from doing the deed. In the process, Dean and Sam will get reunited with their parents. Mary will recognize Dean as a hunter from his last visit to the past. However, he will still try and hide the truth from John.

“Supernatural” episode 13 of season 5 airs this Thursday February 4 at 8pm central time on the CW.
