Green Day rocked ’21 Guns’ with help at the 2010 Grammy Awards. Popular rock band, Green Day showed up at the 2010 Grammy Awards,along with the cast from “American Idiot” to help perform their hit song, “21 Guns.” They performed a very passionate and moving version of the song tonight. It started off with castmembers from “American Idiot” singing the first verse of the song. Then “Green Day” joined in to start singing the song (clip below).

They eventually flowed into the chorus where the “American Idiot” cast continued to contribute their voices to the song. It sounded pretty good too. As the song continued, “The American Idiot” cast kept singing with Green Day and it really turned into a very passionate performance as they all really got into it,throwing their arms up in the air. Green Day and “American Idiot” all hugged each other at the end to a standing ovation from the crowd.
