Universal releases new ‘Robin Hood’ Super Bowl trailer & it’s intense. Universal Pictures released the Super Bowl movie trailer for it’s newest version of the action/adventure flick, “Robin Hood” starring Oscar Award winning Russell Crowe. The trailer (below) looks pretty intense and heavy. The movie also stars: Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, Matthew Macfadyen, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Lea Seydoux, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle, Danny Huston,and Max von Sydow

The new “Robin Hood” movie revolves around expert archer Robin as he travels to Nottingham after King Richard dies. He eventually falls for the spirited widow, Lady Marion who is skeptical of the identity and motivations of Robin Hood. In an effort to win Maid Marion’s love and salvage the village, Robin Hood assembles a gang with lethal mercenary skills to prey on the upper class and correct injustices under the unjust sheriff. Robin Hood and his men who are the most unlikeliest of heroes will set off to protect their country from slipping into a bloody civil war and return glory to England again. “Robin Hood” movie hits theaters on May 14.
