Overture released new ‘The Crazies’ Super Bowl trailer & it’s fiery. Overture Films recently released their new Super Bowl movie trailer for their upcoming horror remake of “The Crazies” movie,and it gets pretty fiery as flames get ignited. It stars: Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, and Joe Anderson.

“The Crazies” is a remake of George Romero’s classic film. It revolves around character David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) who is the Sheriff of Ogden Marsh, which is a picture perfect town with happy law-abiding citizens. However things start to go “crazy” when a man with a loaded gun shows up at a football game ready to kill, and another man burns down his house with his wife and son locked in the closet.

In just a few short days, the whole town gets transformed into a sickening asylum. They become depraved,blood-thirsty killers that hide in the darkness with guns and knives. Sheriff Dutton tries to make sense of what’s happening to the town. Something is infecting the citizens with insanity. They succumb to an unknown toxin and turn sadistically violent. The government uses deadly force to keep everyone in the town contained even the ones that are not infected.

The few people who are still sane become trapped in the town. They are : Sheriff Dutton; his pregnant wife, Judy (Radha Mitchell); Becca (Danielle Panabaker), an assistant at the medical center; and Russell (Joe Anderson), Dutton’s deputy and right-hand man They are forced to band together to survive,and get out of the crazy town alive. “The Crazies” movie hits theaters on February 26.
