New ‘Shutter Island’ featurette shows Leonardo interview & unseen clips. Paramount Pictures released a brand new featurette (below) for their new psychological thriller, “Shutter Island.” It hits theaters this weekend, and the feature shows Leonardo DiCaprio and director, Martin Scorsese interview clips,along with more exciting unseen footage. The movie stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, and Max von Sydow

The clip (below) starts off by showing a couple of scenes from the film. Then Leonardo Dicaprio says, “One of the great appeals about Scorsese, is that I think he feels connected with the characters and the actors that he’s putting up on the screen. He needs to have that sort of level of connection to the material and the people who train these characters. Of course, Scorsese loves to discuss everything great length,which is something that I love to do too.”

Then Martin said, ” I like working together on these scenes. We just created an atmosphere on the set that gave the actors full range to be able to explore. When we were shooting the picture,finding the emotional impact of a scene with actors made everything worth while for me. It was quite,quite extraordinary.” Actor, Bill Kingsley also chimed in with a few details about the movie. It concluded with some more very,very intense scenes. “Shutter Island” movie hits theaters this weekend on February 19.
