Deadliest Catch’s Jake Harris gets arrested for DUI in Seattle car crash. According to TMZ, Jake Harris who is one of the stars of Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” show, got arrested last night in Seattle for a DUI (driving under the influence). They say Jake Harris is currently in jail for getting into a car crash last night,while driving intoxicated. Jake was arrested in Seattle on suspicion of DUI,hit and run,and driving with a suspended license. All of those charges are misdemeanors.
Jake was taken to a nearby jail,and booked. His bail was set at $1,500. Jake Harris is 24 years old,and his father, Captain Phil Harris recently made headline news when he died earlier this month due to complications from a stroke he had. Jake Harris is the youngest son and started on “Deadliest Catch” a couple of seasons ago. He takes part in every aspect of work on the deck,which includes bossing around his older brother Josh and a new member named Greenhorn Ryan. You can read the story at TMZ by Clicking Here.

Poor kid is probably an emotional wreck. He was clearly very close to his father. I know that doesn’t give him a free pass… he should have called someone. Hopefully nobody was hurt. I do feel for him though.
Ya it’s hell to lose a parent but as someone who’s family suffered a loss from someone who was stupid enough to drive drunk I hope that he gets hit hard by the courts. 23 years ago my aunt was killed, Jake is lucky he dosen’t have to live with the fact he murderes someone because of his stupid decision. Losing someone you love dosen’t excuse doing something so immensly STUPID!
