Tiger Woods to make rare public statement at PGA Headquarters. According to TMZ , Tiger Woods is set to make his first public announcement in three months at the PGA headquarters this Friday at 11am eastern time. They say Tiger plans to apologize for his behavior and discuss his plans for the future. He will speak with a small group of his friends and colleagues during the news conference. No one will be able to ask questions during the news conference.

Tiger is reportedly going to be reading a prepared statement. The news conference will take place during the “Accenture Match Play Championship” golf tournament. Read the rest of this entry »

Jack Shephard gets in alternate timeline & more in ABC’s “Lost” episode 5 of season 6. We’ve got just a few spoilers this week,along with a short promo clip for the show after the jump. The episode is entitled, “Lighthouse,” and in this one, Jack Shephard will be in an alternate timeline,and will get a visit from Dogen. The spoilers for this week are pretty short as there weren’t many available,but here’s a few.

Tiger Woods received a visit from his wife, Elin Nordegren in Florida. According to TMZ , Tiger Woods got a rare visit from his estranged wife, Elin Nordegren earlier this morning in Florida. They say that Tiger is now living in the family’s home in Isleworth,and has a white Cadillac Escalade parked in the driveway. According to TMZ and the video (below), Brody Jenner who is one of the stars from MTV’s hit,reality show, “The Hills” was spotted hangin out with famous singer, Avril Lavigne and a couple of other people last night. Jersey Shore’s Pauly D to get his name trademarked or patented. According to TMZ, Pauly Del Vecchio aka Pauly D from MTV’s new,hit,reality show, “Jersey Shore” is joining to of his other castmates in trying to get his name trademarked or patented for outside work opportunities. They say Pauly D is the 3rd “Jersey Shore” reality show who’s trying trademark his nickname,but he only wants to use it for DJ purposes.

Pauly has recently applied for a trademark on the name “DJ Pauly D,” which will be strictly used for disc jockey services. On the application that Pauly filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Pauly pointed out that he has no intention of trying to exclusively own the rights to the word “DJ” separated from “Pauly D.” Read the rest of this entry »

Jersey Shore’s J-WOWW got front seat at Kim Kardashian’s fashion show. According to TMZ , Jenni Farley aka “J-WOWW” from MTV’s new hit,reality show, “Jersey Shore” managed to snag an exclusive front-row seat at a high profile Fashionweek show for Kim Kardashian’s fashion show. They say J-WOWW made her way into a New York Fashion Week show. She sported drag makeup and an Ed Hardy-esque tunic dress,and managed to snag a front row seat at Kim Kardashian’s bebe runway show in New York City yesterday. Read the rest of this entry »

Jersey Shore’s Snooki gets her name patented and writing a book. According to TMZ, Nicole Polizzi aka Snooki from MTV’s new, hit reality show, “Jersey Shore” is currently in the process of getting her famous nickname patented or trademarked because she’s getting ready to write a book. They say she has filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to gain the sole right to use her famous nickname.

Snooki wants to use the trademark for printed matter,or books. They also say that Mike Sorrentino aka “The Situation” is trying to trademark his nickname as well. A small plane crashed in Palo Alto & disabled power in the whole city. According to the Los Angeles Times , a small plane crashed earlier this morning and caused very big damage in the city of East Palo Alto. It apparently took out power in the whole city. They say it caused a widespread power outage. There were three fatalities for all people who were inside the Cessna 310.

The plane’s wing struck a home day-care center in the residential neighborhood then ricocheted off multiple vehicles when it hit the ground. Read the rest of this entry »

‘American Idol’ 9 revealed seven of the top 24 contestants tonight. The show kicked off by showing footage from the final audition rounds in Hollywood to decide the final 46 contestants. Some did good,and some did not so good. After showing about an hour of final round footage,the judges did the traditional three-room walk where they had to tell one room full of hopefuls that they should hope no more,and didn’t make it to the final 46. Of course, the other two rooms were very happy when they found out they made it.

After that, The final judge’s decision for the top 24 took place, for the first time, in the world famous Kodak Theater. Read the rest of this entry »

New ‘Shutter Island’ featurette shows Leonardo interview & unseen clips. Paramount Pictures released a brand new featurette (below) for their new psychological thriller, “Shutter Island.” It hits theaters this weekend, and the feature shows Leonardo DiCaprio and director, Martin Scorsese interview clips,along with more exciting unseen footage. The movie stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, and Max von Sydow
