Actress, Ashley Tisdale to star in new ‘Hellcats’ CW TV show. According to Zap2it, High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale is set to star in a new CW TV show entitled, “Hellcats.” They say she is going to join fellow Disney Channel alum Aly Michalka in the pilot episode for CW’s new “Hellcats” TV show.

“Hellcats” will revolve around Aly Michalka’s character who is a college student that loses her academic scholarship and tries out for the school’s cheerleading squad to help pay for her tuition. Ashley Tisdale’s character will be the captain of the cheerleading team,and becomes a roommate with Aly Michalka’s character.

In other Ashley Tisdale news, she’s going to be starring in the 4th installment of the popular High School Musical movie. It’s entitled “East Meets West.” Actually, it’s just rumored right now, according to IMDB.com, but I’m pretty sure it’s true. Why not?
